Are you ready to join us on our exciting journey?
Ellevio is one of Sweden's largest energy companies, and together we continue to electrify Sweden. With us, you are part of a secure and important future industry while having the opportunity to make a difference, grow as an individual, and have a lot of fun along the way! We believe in a bright and sustainable future, do you?
Do you want to influence and develop? Become a Power System Analyst in an engaged and innovative team at Ellevio!
About the role of Power System Analyst
As a Power System Analyst with us, you play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable and well-functioning network solutions for both regional and local grids. You will work on network investigations where you develop various alternatives that are analyzed both technically and economically. Among your tasks are load and fault current calculations, power quality issues, and developing long-term plans for network measures. Data analysis is becoming increasingly central, and investigations are conducted both in network calculation software and with the help of programming scripts.
The role involves close collaboration with network planners, project managers, and maintenance planners – therefore, both technical curiosity and teamwork skills are essential. You will be part of an engaged and positive team driven by challenges and exciting projects, where we constantly work on business development to improve our working methods.
As a Power System Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on interesting issues and develop within your profession while playing a key role in our work for the electrified and sustainable society of the future.
Your stationing location is at our office in Karlstad or Kungsbacka.
About you
To fit and thrive in the role of Power System Analyst with us, you need to have a structured and meticulous approach to your work. You are solution-oriented and have an aptitude for analytical thinking, solving questions and problems in a long-term manner, and have a good ability to see logic and connections. Furthermore, you need to have good collaboration skills as the role involves cooperation both internally with colleagues in different teams and departments as well as externally with customers and contractors.
We prefer that you have a Master's degree in electrical engineering or another higher education with a focus on electrical power. If you lack education in electrical power, you need to have equivalent competence from previous work experience and have worked for a few years with power system analysis, network calculations, or network planning.
You have knowledge of PSS/E, Netbas, or similar calculation software for masked regional networks or calculations for local networks. Knowledge of programming and data analysis is an advantage. You also need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Ellevio as an employer
It is important for us that employees thrive, feel engaged, and are driven by the desire to continuously learn new things and develop. Only then can we together achieve our vision of a bright and sustainable future. With us, you have great opportunities to influence the company as a whole and your own career. A great proof of this is that we have been named a Career Company for the sixth year in a row for 2026!
We constantly work for a sustainable and developing work climate where equality, diversity, and inclusion are a given. For example, there is the ELLE network, Ellevio's internal women's network, and we train all employees in collective intelligence to create conditions for increased collaboration and well-being.
We also offer flexible working hours and, in dialogue with your nearest manager, the opportunity to work from home a couple of days a week.
